Mr. Chedrawy joined MetOcean Data Systems in 2001 as Vice President, Director of Sales and Marketing. His firm dedication during his tenure allowed him to considerably expand international market reach and accelerate global revenue; thus earning him an appointment as President in 2004. In addition to his managerial and operational responsibilities, his work includes overseeing corporate strategy and business development, as well as developing and executing sales strategy, and driving the company's marketing efforts. 

Mr. Chedrawy’s experience prior to joining MetOcean encompasses more than 18years in the areas of electro-mechanical engineering, project management, and strategic sales and marketing. He has held senior management positions within the petroleum and information technology industries and has provided numerous presentations on modular electronic designs for data acquisition and processing systems. Tony holds an MBA with honors from the University of Houston, a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University and is a registered professional engineer.

Mr. Petolas joined MetOcean in the summer of 2010 as the Vice President of Engineering.  Leading a team of diversified and experienced professional engineers and technologists, Bernie is responsible for the Research and Development of new products and technologies.  His broader mandate is to maintain MetOcean’s technological lead in the global marketplace, offering innovative and unique solutions.

Bernie brings to MetOcean more than 30 years’ experience in the marine industry, including more than 20 years developing solutions for meteorological, oceanographic, polar, search and rescue applications.  Prior to joining MetOcean, he was VP of business development for a software development firm in the field of C4ISR, maritime domain awareness, military situational awareness, and homeland security.

Bernie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Dalhousie University in Halifax and is a registered professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia (APENS).
